Why can't I use DRAM modules with different frequencies than my MacBook on the Mac?

Unlike non-Apple computers, the motherboard of a MacBook nearly never supports the installation of memory modules with different frequencies. If you're looking for a module to go with your MacBook, we suggest choosing one that shares the same frequency with what your computer is using to avoid imcompatibility.
