How Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) affects image quality

Category : Specification / Capacity / Performance

Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) can affect image quality in the following ways:

1.Reduced field of view:

To stabilize the image, EIS removes distorted edges, resulting in a smaller visible area.

2.Possible decrease in brightness:

EIS does not adjust the image brightness during stabilization, so the brightness of the stabilized image may be reduced.

Note: In low-light conditions where infrared imaging is used, it is recommended to disable EIS to improve the overall experience.
