Why is my file count shown to be less than the file count on the Apple device after I backed up files?

It could be that you only backed up the files stored on you Apple device. If you would also like to back up files stored on iCloud, please tap Backups on the JetDrive Go App and turn on iCloud Photos. 

Note: Please also make sure that your iOS device is connected to the Internet.
